Legacy Light Roast

A delicate yet expressive cup, this legacy light roast opens with a fragrant aroma of wildflower honey and ripe stone fruit. The cup is bright and silky, revealing flavours of golden apple, peach, and mandarin, layered with gentle notes of caramelized sugar and raw honey sweetness. A soft floral nuance and a hint of cocoa linger in the finish, balanced by a clean, refreshing acidity and a smooth, tea like body. A brighter more lively roast for the more experienced brewer.

This medium roast offers a richer and more rounded expression while preserving its natural honey character. The aroma is warm and inviting, with notes of baked apple, toffee and roasted nuts. On the palate, flavours of caramelized peach, dark honey, and milk chocolate unfold, supported by a gentle citrus undertone. The body is smooth and creamy, with a mellow acidity and a lingering finish of cocoa, spice, and soft brown sugar, a mild sweetness.

A bold and deeply aromatic cup. Intense aromas of molasses, dark chocolate, and toasted sugar rise from the brew. The flavour is rich and full-bodied, revealing notes of burnt caramel, cacao nibs, and roasted almond, complemented by a subtle smokiness and hints of dried fig. The natural honey process lends a lingering sweetness beneath the roast, finishing smooth and powerful with low acidity and a long, bittersweet cocoa aftertaste.

It starts with the bean.

Our heritage farm specializes in growing and fermenting techniques that aim to produce the best possible coffee beans for pod brewing. We taste our roasts over and over again to extract the most incredible natural flavour notes and aroma that our beans have to offer.

Using a rare form of coffee fruit sun fermentation, our farm takes the freshly harvested coffee fruit (leaving the red fruit flesh of the coffee berry) and sun bakes the inner raw coffee beans in its natural fruit honey until fully dried (a process of several weeks). This soaks the inner coffee bean in rich nutrients and natural coffee flavours that results in highly desirable award winning coffee beans with incredible mouthwatering flavour. Keep in mind most all coffee beans on the market today are immediately stripped of their natural fruit flesh for cheap and fast market entry.

Whether it be dark chocolate flavours or woody cedar aromas, we use the beautiful high altitude of the mountain regions within the farm to tap into different experiences to draw out the flavourful oils within the beans unique to each area they are cultivated within.

Once our farms beans are brought into our roasting facility we roast, grind and seal the coffee cups upon order to ensure the freshest coffee is locked into our airtight pods for your personal order so when you brew you're getting a great quality and fresh cup.
